What is Ceragem?
Ceragem is the name of our business as well as the name of our flag-ship product: The Ceragem Automatic Therapeutic Health Bed, or 'Ceragem'. Comfortably lie down and let the jade rollers work out tight muscles, relieve pain, align the back, improve circulation, improve sleep and kick start energy. Ceragem designs and manufactures this comprehensive health tool for home and medical use.
Do you rent beds?
Yes we do.
How much does this cost?
We are celebrating our 10th anniversary! Come in and get a 40 minute session for only $5.00. Unbelievable! Limited time. Come celebrate by getting a healthier body!
Do I need an appointment?
No, but making an appointment will assure you a massage at your convenience.
When will I see results?
Results will vary depending on your health conditions, how long you have had the condition or injury, your age, the kind of work or sports you are involved in and lifestyle choices you make (e.g. smoking, aggressive activities, etc.). We recommend a daily commitment for 2 weeks to start.
Can shildren and pregnant women use Ceragem?
Kids and pregnant women are encouraged to use their Ceragem beds at home.
Am I too old for Ceragem?
Ceragem may be safely used at home at any age. At our Ceragem store we have helped individuals feel better who were almost 100 years old! You're never too old!
I have had knee/hip surgery. Can I use Ceragem?
Ceragem is not only safe, but advisable, for anyone who is contemplating knee or hip surgery or who has had these surgeries. We advise that you consult your doctor first.
I have a pacemaker. Can I use Ceragem?
Ceragem is safe for individuals who have pacemakers.
Can Ceragem help weight loss?
Many have reported weight loss, but results may vary from person to person.
How can Ceragem help with diabetes?
Diabetics are on a daily watch for blood sugar levels which directly affect the circulation process. Cerageming every day is a wonderful way for a diabetic to maintain good circulation with no effort at all! The diabetics who own a Ceragem love it!
How can Ceragem help with scoliosis and back curvatures?
Misalignments of the spine for various reasons such as scoliosis, sway back, etc. are greatly helped by Ceragem as daily use keeps the spine loose and flexible.
Can I eat before I have a Ceragem therapeutic session?
Yes, but after a heavy meal, allow about 1 hour.
Will I be sore after?
Most people, even those with back issues, are not sore after a Ceragem therapy. Those who have had previous back issues and soreness may have slight soreness but it is minimal and goes away quickly.
Will I be too relaxed to go to work?
Ceragem is all about putting the body into balance. Stress and tension holds the body's energy - Ceragem releases that energy allowing it to flow freely and the user to feel de-stressed. Your body will reclaim its energy, allowing you to feel relaxed and energized when it's time for you to get things done.
What do Doctor's think of Ceragem?
Doctors who know Ceragem love Ceragem and many doctors recommend Ceragem. Ceragem is a great ally to the medical community as it is a medical device licensed by Health Canada. If your doctor is not informed about Ceragem, feel free to pick up some literature for him or her so they can know more.
Do I need a Letter of Permission from my doctor?

How many times is it safe to use the bed?
There is no 'unsafe' amount. More is better. Listen to your body. Our friendly staff will help you understand what your body is experiencing.
Can I bring kids to wait while at Ceragem?
Please make arrangements to have your children looked after as we do not have the ability to look after them in the store, and we have limited space for them to wait.
How soon after surgery can I use Ceragem?
You may use Ceragem as soon as your doctor advises.
Can I overdo it?
No. The body can and will take all the optimum stimulus it can to maintain proper health.
Is Ceragem safe?
Ceragem is safe for all ages, and all conditions. Please advise the staff so we can best accommodate your concern.
I have very brittle bones/osteoporosis. Can I use Ceragem?
Ceragem can be adapted for all kinds of health concerns. Individuals with low bone density, osteoporosis or brittle bones would benefit from Ceragem
I am very bony. Is Ceragem right for me?
Ceragem is advisable for all bodies. Your body weight determines your optimum personal pressure. Lighter people apply less weight. We have, for your comfort, padding and cushions, should you desire that or should you be concerned. We want your experience to be comfortable.
I am in a scooter/wheelchair. Can I still come to Ceragem?
You are welcome to come to Ceragem. Individuals will need to be able to move their own body weight. If you cannot do this, please bring in a caregiver who can assist you. We do not help you transfer.
Do I need an appointment?
Appointments are not necessary but are good for the first visit so we can reserve a bed for you.
How often should I come?
The more you come to Ceragem, the faster you feel better.
Will this really help me?
Your body wants to help you, regardless of age or conditions. Come into Ceragem and let your body do what it wants to do best: make you feel better.
Is this claimable on insurance?
As a medical device, it should be covered but please speak to your insurance company as this will vary.
Is this covered by OHIP?
Ceragem is a private business whose sole purpose is to give people a happier, healthier life. We are not connected to OHIP. As a licensed medical device is may be claimed as a medical expense on tax returns (consult with your tax preparer).
Can I go to Ceragem and see other health care practitioners?
Ceragem in no way interferes with any other health care practices.
I am healthy and exercise already. Why do I need Ceragem?
Ceragem is for anyone and everyone who wants a better functioning body, more energy and quicker recovery time. Healthy people maintain better health and very often improve things even more.

Does the Ceragem massage your lower body and legs?
Yes, repositioning of your body on the bed means you can easily massage your legs and feet.
What is Far Infrared? Is it safe?
Far infrared is a specific type of light that is not visible to the naked eye, but can be felt as warmth. It is the type of heat that our bodies generate all the time and that's why our bodies love it. Far infrared is not only safe, it is essential to life. We depend on far infrared to stay alive. All of our essential bodily functions depend on far infrared heat like keeping our blood warm and circulating, maintaining a strong immune system, etc.. When we absorb far infrared, our blood cells move faster. Active, moving blood means better circulation, better healing, better detox, and better cell regeneration.
